THAI COOKING
OFF SITE
Spice up a few fall evenings in this hands-on Dinner Party class with
Chef Phensri Francis, a native of North East Thailand, a region
famous for authentic Thai cooking. She will conduct classes at her home
in Old Bridge.
Students will learn the fundamentals of cooking Thai dishes and will be
able to cook and present a wide array of the most popular dishes: exotic
appetizers, entrees, soups, and desserts.
Highlights will include sources & uses of Thai herbs, spices, and
ingredients along with cooking techniques for Shrimp Pad Thai, Chicken
Basil, Chicken Masaman Curry, Ginger Beef, Thai Shrimp Fried Rice,
Chicken Panang Curry, Shrimp Drunken Noodles, Chicken Satay, Thai Salad
with Peanut Sauce, Chicken Tom Yum Soup, Sticky Rice with Mango, and
Chicken with Cashew Nut.
Recipes will be provided for all dishes taught.
